JR93 Relay

The JR93 voltage start relay is designed for single-phase motors requiring high starting torque, and can be used with both start and run capacitors (CSA and CSIR configurations). It is widely applied in air conditioners, commercial refrigeration, steam pumps and other industries.

A voltage from the motor’s starting winding is applied across the coil of the JR93 voltage start relay. When this voltage rises to a certain value (pick-up voltage), the contacts open, disconnecting the start capacitor. The relay remains energized until the voltage across the starting winding disappears or drops below its drop-out voltage.
